Bags Fashion Week: Chanel Fall 2011

Oh, Karl Lagerfeld. You had me at The Cure.

There have been many grants can not be found on the catwalk Chanel Fall 2011, which struck me as something amazing. Chanel fully recognizes the place of leather goods company history, and the general enthusiasm of the improvements in local currency on the track, in the form of a bag of goodies bag lovers. This time, however, had relatively little to see.

What we have seen in the dystopia that goth Lagerfeld created in the Grand Palais in Paris was very good. Most bags were of the variety chain attached flap, but Lagerfeld got rid of the iconic brand and quilt woven leather handles give a more striking of a classic Chanel. Small quilted handbags have been seen here and there, but most of the models walked away empty-handed, perhaps in a nod to the dark-chic setting of the series. Although I am disappointed to see no more bags, now I'm even happier to release previews. Chanel win again.
